Dear Southern Fulton Community and Families,

Greetings and welcome to another exciting school year at Southern Fulton Elementary School.  I am excited to welcome each of you to our family at Southern Fulton Elementary. I am proud to be an alumni of this school, in addition to, this being my 23rd year of working at Southern Fulton Elementary and my 3rd year as the principal.  I have the pleasure of having worked in this district as an Instructional Support Teacher, Kindergarten Teacher, Title I Reading and Math Teacher, and as a Dean of Students.  Throughout my career, I believe that each year the faculty and staff has held high expectations for the students and have striven to make our school and community a great place for students and staff.

I hope that you have the same enthusiasm and pride that I have in our great school.  Being a part of the Southern Fulton community is a great honor and it is my hope that you enter here into the spirit of family, community, and pride in our school. It is my wish that students apply their abilities and talents, participate actively in class, enjoy school, obey school rules and regulations, feel safe, and support school activities in a positive manner.

We, the staff and administration, are here to help you in any way possible to meet the requirements of the State and the expectations of the District.  You will find our faculty and staff to be dedicated and caring.  It is our goal that your experiences here will be pleasant, but challenging. The kind of school we have depends upon all of us working together; the school district, the parents, the students, and the community. We are sure you will help make our school district one of the finest in Pennsylvania, in which we can all be proud.

I look forward to working with both the parents and the students to help make our students—your children—reach their full potential to be successful both in and out of school.  Welcome to our family.

SF Proud,

Kathy Cutchall
