Kathy Cutchall
Elementary Principal

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Southern Fulton Elementary.  In these difficult and unprecedented times, we welcome all of our students to join us for face-to-face instruction.  We are so happy to be back in school working with our students.  Our faculty, staff, and administration are doing as much as we can to help your child reach their maximum potential academically, while helping to keep them as safe and healthy as possible.  In addition, we are trying to put the normalcy and routine back into your child’s life that they were unable to have in the Spring, due to the sudden school closure.

Please note that we are following the CDC guidelines for health and safety.  It is mandatory that our students wear masks throughout the day.  However, they are given mask breaks throughout the day as well.  In addition, we have our student desks spaced 6 ft. apart in the classrooms to follow the social distancing guidelines.  Our students have adjusted very well to the new guidelines.

I missed seeing the students in the Spring and am so glad to see them back at school.  It is also good to see a community that has come together to do what we can to help our children, the future of this community, to be healthy, happy, and successful.

Any time you have questions or concerns throughout the year, please feel free to call the elementary office.  Mr. Diffenderfer, the Dean of Students, or I will be happy to help you.

Stay Healthy,

Mrs. Cutchall
