Fulton County Dairy Promotion Team Fulton County Milk Drop

With the current pandemic situation, not only are many individuals and families within the community struggling, but many agricultural commodities are also facing difficult times.  The dairy industry is not exempt from these difficult times. With Fulton county being such a dairy rich community, the Fulton County Dairy Promotion, Fulton County Fair Association and Harrisburg Dairies decided to come together to help the dairy industry, as well as families in our community.  We will be bringing a "milk drop" to the Fulton County fairgrounds on June 6th at 10:00 am! Harrisburg Dairies will deliver half gallons of white and chocolate milk that will be FREE for our community.  It will be a drive through pick up, and will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are no requirements to receive the free milk.  The community members simply drive into the fairgrounds to receive free milk for their families. This effort not only helps the community, it helps dairy farmers by providing a place to ship their milk instead of disposing of it, and it helps milk processors who will have the milk to process and a place for it to be distributed.

To make this possible, the Fulton County Dairy Promotion Team is working to raise the funds to cover the cost of the milk for those in need within our community.  Our cost is $2.30/half gallon.  Our goal is to raise enough money to be able to offer 1,000 half gallons of milk to the community.  Would you be able to consider helping us attain this goal?  Any amount your business would be able to donate would bring more milk to the drop.  A donation of $50.00 or more will be recognized on a sign at the milk drop, as well as on a tag tied to each milk carton.
