Southern Fulton proudly presents Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man” on Friday March 29th and Saturday March 30th at 7:00 pm. The doors will open at 6:30 and tickets are available through the HS Office or at the door. General Admission $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students, hand-held infants- age 3 free.
The story follows the slick talking salesman, Harold Hill, as he tries to influence the townspeople of River City, Iowa to pay him to save them from the trouble that has started due to a Billiard Hall in their town. His pitch is to pressure them to buy instruments and uniforms to start a boys band, all the while, he is planning to leave town before the band is formed. The only flaw in his plan is the town librarian is also the piano teacher and she suspects that he is not all that he appears to be…she couldn’t be more correct!
The show features 52 Southern Fulton students in grades 1- 12 as on stage actors and crew members. The lead characters are Tavita Ah Loe as Harold Hill and Lydia Hiller as Marian Paroo. Please join us for this fun and colorful musical classic- seating is limited- so get your tickets today!
